Prep C 2016

In Prep C we have been using the ‘Colourful Semantic’ cards to assist us with our writing. When we are writing about certain topics which we have experienced or are going to experience, we use these cards to help us put our thoughts together and into some sort of structure. For example, if we are going to write about our weekend we would use the above cards to assist us in piecing all our thoughts together and writing them down in an order which makes sense. Before we begin our writing we share our thoughts with a partner or in a group and then share these thoughts with one another. The cards are as follows: When did it happen? Who was there/Who came? Where did you go? What did you do? and we have recently introduced one which is about writing about what we thought of the activity. You might like to try and use these colourful semantic cards to help you write about something you did this weekend. Please bring them into class, I would like to display your work and share it with the class.
